Tansi, Stefanie niiya

Hello, I’m Stefanie

Let’s get to know each other

I’m Stefanie Coutu (she/her/hers). I’m a registered social worker (BC College of Social Workers #15566) in Prince Rupert, BC. I live on the ancestral and unceded territories of the Ts’msyen (Tsimshian) First Nations. As a Métis woman and settler, I am honored to be part of this coastal community.

I hold a Bachelor’s in Psychology and French from UBC Okanagan. I also have a Master’s in Social Work from McGill University. I have over a decade of experience working in various health and social service roles, specializing in mental health and substance use. I’ve worked across public, private, and community settings.

As we meet, guided by the Métis way of kaa-wiichitoyaahk—we take care of each other—I am here to support you. I look forward to meeting you!
